Areas of Expertise

wind farm performance appraisal

With the growth of wind energy, more and more corporates are investing in using this form of energy for their energy demands. However, maintaining a wind farm as an owner is not always as simple as signing a contract with an O&M service provider and relaxing in your chair. Sometimes, their may be minor calibration issues or other component defects that may go undetected right from the start of the project or such performance-affecting issues can silently develop over time. Either way, they can affect the profits significantly and correcting them can enhance returns. Hence, wind farms need their 'project-health check-up' to make sure everything is running at its optimum. That's where we come in.

offshore wind lidar project

We did an offshore mast-mounted Lidar for Suzlon in November 2017 off the coast of Jakhau, Gujarat. It was the first serious activity done by a private player in offshore wind industry in India. Since, it was first project of its kind to be done by a private corporate, Suzlon, we had to start from scratch and learned a lot in the process. We are willing to do similar projects with interested clients in future..

project approvals and permissions

Power projects need a lot of permissions and approvals. Acquiring the necessary permissions is often long arduous journey which eats up a lot of time. We have extensive experience in permission acquisition. From environment impact assessment to getting the 'right of way' for power evacuation line, we have done it all. We spearheaded an offshore mast-mounted lidar project for our client in 2017. Since, it was first of its kind project by a private company in India, we even required to seek what permissions we need and then get them and we did.

I think the cost of energy will come down when we make this transition to renewable energy.
